CITIES WITHOUT HUNGER presents its projects in Berlin

4 - 043

Presentations at Humboldt Universität and Technische Universität Berlin extended our academic network, spread our experiences on in international stage and promoted new partnerships for our projects in Brazil.

CITIES WITHOUT HUNGER’s founder, Hans Dieter Temp, travelled to Germany in June to support our Berlin office and to reach out for new partners. Temp was invited to present our experiences related to urban agriculture at Berlin’s two most important universities, Humboldt Universität and TU Berlin.

Further contacts were made with journalists and Rotary members. In Munich, Hans Dieter Temp and his wife Silvia Maria Nascimento, Rotary member in São Paulo, presented the results of the cooperation between Rotary International and CITIES WITHOUT HUNGER.

Since 2015, our office in Berlin is the Föderverein Städte ohne Hunger. It was founded by Esther K. Beuth-Heyer, who fundraises, establishes partnerships and promotes our work.
